  The Comfort Hotel St Albans is situated in a grade II listed landmark building that was built in 1911 by Samuel Ryder, donor of golf’s prestigious Ryder Cup, to house the business of his successful seed company. Today The Comfort Hotel St Albans retains many original features including leaded light room screens, sweeping staircase and a magnificent mahogany and stained glass dome. Samuel Ryder’s original fireplace surround complete with hand carved initials still stands in his private office which is now the principal meeting room/wedding suite. The Comfort Hotel St Albans is conveniently situated in the heart of historic St Albans, opposite the Cathedral and Abbey Church of Saint Alban and close to Roman city of Verulamium. Samuel Ryder’s original fireplace surround complete with hand carved initials still stands in his private office which is now the principal meetings/function room. Here at the Comfort Hotel St Albans we provide complimentary car parking for every guest. Comfort Hotel St Albans has three car parks, one adjacent to the hotel and the other two within walking distance of the hotel. All our car parks are well lit. Spaces are allocated on first come first serve basis. We will happily reserve two parking spaces in our carpark adjacent to the Hotel for the Wedding Party. The Hotel has right to cancel any booking at any time without liability whatsoever save for the return of any deposit paid. In the case of overbooking the Hotel will make reasonable efforts to find alternative accommodation. |
